What is micrografting hair restoration technique?
It is an old variation or technique where surgeons used to take 2 to 4 follicles in a single micrograft and implant these to the baldness area. The whole procedure was performed under local anesthesia and took five to six hours. This technique was in fashion from 1994 to 2005 and letar on single follicular units were separated or extracted. Currently FUE ( follicular unit extraction ) is the latest method for baldness treatment among men and women.
Why do doctors recommend minoxidil after hair restoration surgery?
It increases the blood flow to follicles and stops further hair loss. Therefore, it is advised for two reasons after the procedure.
